Thank you for visiting my Congenital Heart Walk personal fundraising page for The Amazing Team Caleb!
Why do I raise funds and walk for the Congenital Heart Walk each year?
Congenital heart defects are the most common birth defect in the U.S. with nearly 1 in 100 babies born with CHDs each year.
My son, Caleb, was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (CHD) known as Complete Heart Block when I was approximately 20 weeks pregnant. Caleb underwent his first surgery when he was less than a day old and received a pacemaker for his heart. He underwent a second pacemaker surgery in November 2015. Caleb is a happy, healthy, and active seven year old boy that shows almost no signs of being a heart patient.
We are very thankful to the dedicated professionals at Phoenix Children's Hospital as well as the many research and programs focused on congenital heart defects.
Please consider making a tax deductible contribution to support my fundraising efforts on behalf of The Children’s Heart Foundation and the Adult Congenital Heart Association. All funds raised benefit CHD research and programs. I appreciate your support!
