Cam's Crew

Hello Friends and Family,

Thank you for visiting the team page for Cam's Crew! Last year we raised over $10,000!!!

As many of you know, Cameron Avery Sanders was born with a Congenital Heart Defect.

We are blessed that Cameron's condition was relatively low risk in the overall landscape of heart defects, however she has been under the care of Pediatric Cardiologists since birth. Finally after 7 years of monitoring the situation, we decided that it was time to intervene.

April 15, 2017 Cameron underwent a heart procedure at University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. Under their wonderful care, Cameron has emerged healthy and vibrant. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful medical center in our own back yard.

POST SURGERY UPDATE:  Cameron continues to thrive.  She has sucessfully completed her post surgery treatment and continues to get great updates from her doctors.  We thank C.S. Mott and staff for their continued care.

We know Cameron was one of the good stories. Many other families are not as blessed. Research is NEEDED to understand why children are born with heart defects and understand how to prevent and treat these conditions.

We are asking for your support. We hope you can join our team for the Congenital Heart Walk in Troy on September 22nd, 2018 - 9am to 12pm. Kickoff at 10:30am. This day will be full of fun and inspiration. Join us for a family friendly 1.25mile route. We hope to create a community of people who want to see children's heart defects eliminated altogether.

If are able to join please let us know your t-shirt size so we can make sure you have a "Cameron's Crew" shirt!

If you are unable to join, but still want to support us and this great cause, please consider a small donation. Any amount helps and we are very grateful for your support!
